
In addition to the books listed below, I took two courses at
Queen's this year for which I did a lot of reading:
- ECON 243 Economics of Health Care
- ECON 240 Canadian Tax Policy
These are the two most interesting courses in economics I have taken so far. I
love the mathematics in macro and micro courses, but these practical
application courses are much more engaging. Each of them contrasts health care
and tax policy in Canada with that of other countries and with what is
considered best practice in economic research.
