That result from the Miami Tropical 5K was my last best race result. It was after returning from that race that I started a new program looking to beat 22 minutes at my next 5k in the Spring, and eventually to get at least one sub-20 minute result, that I damaged the articular cartiledge in my left knee which put me on the path to strength training.
