Some alternative takes on Ken's question:
"What problem do you think you are solving?"
Do you have a clear understanding of what it is you think you are doing? If yes, does it align with whatever needs doing? Does it make sense?
"Are you solving a problem at all?"
Is there a there there? It is surprisingly common to work on something that doesn't need to be worked on at all. What will happen if you simply do not do the thing that you are doing that you believe is solving a problem?
