Teaching myself Press 2.0. I admit I don’t quite get why this was introduced. I get that it allows you to move a heavier weight but I still find it very weird to add a highly dynamic element to the lift.

I reviewed my row and deadlift technique. I’m dropping rows from my training. Pretty clear to me I should not be doing them yet. I also dropped weight on my deadlift to focus on the 5-step deadlift setup. Going forward I’m just going to press and deadlift until …

This worked well but cleaning my front squats weights at 52kg before doing my actual power cleans at 44kg is pretty silly. Do the cleans first. Or skip the front squats altogether. They aren’t heavy enough to be useful.

It Was The Very Worst Butter

Hands down the worst motorcycle trip I have ever been on. Almost 9 days of rain, fog, and cold. Don’t let the cheerier photos below fool you. They were but mere moments of respite from the vengeful skies.

Day 1 - Thessalon
